Vintage Christmas images  are a great springboard for easy-peasy, creative gift giving. Having ready-made "blanks" on hand makes creating a snap.  I created my blanks from  this wonderfully versatile air-dry polymer clay from Activa          (This is a great sticky-free clay.) I liked the idea of a domino shaped pendant that was lightweight. I used my "pokey-tool" to push a hole through the domino shape. (Ignore the messy surface, it will all be covered.) Next step is to choose the  perfect Vintage Christmas image. (Trace around your shape for the image to cut out.) Gel medium   works well to adhere your image to the blank.    ( This mini set of   mediums    is a great way to sample a product or include in an artistic gift set.) We want to share it because it gives such fantastic results with simple supplies and especially at this time of year with so much bling and gifting, what could be better than personalizing what you create? Joanne Sharpe uses craft foil and a glue stick in her hand lettering tutorial. As shown in Cloth Paper Scissors promotion. Using paper of your choice - Simply write what you want with a glue stick ( UHU glue sticks are fine quality).   Allow to air dry a bit. Then lay craft foil over the glue (shiny side up) and using a Silly Stick as a brayer, rub gently but firmly to transfer the foil to the glue.     Gently peel up one corner to see if it adhered as much as you would like.  If needed, press back into place and use the silly stick again being careful not to tear the foil. Hi everyone !! Wanted to share a quick little gift idea for you to create ...either at the last minute or make a bunch of them to have on hand ! Everyone can use a magnet to hold up a note or the most recent art project created by a loved one ! I usually make several of these at a time and have on hand to give as a little thank you gift ! I use wood clothespins , these I dyed with rit dye ! Any color choice you can do , today I used my blue one's or you can use natural one's also ! Next I picked a collage sheet from Altered Pages large selection , the one I used is 4 by 4 Collage Backgrounds VI , I liked the vintage look I was going for !! I used each design on the sheet , decopodged onto the clothespin , let dry  and then used a blending tool and aged the edges .
