Have you attended any festive events? Maybe a work luncheon or a cookie exchange or just good friends have a cup of coffee? It has been a whirlwind at our home and it's not over yet! I have several groups in which we exchange tokens of our friendship. This year I made ornaments for gifts. They were easy and fun, embellishing is the TRICK! At this time of year anything goes with decorations! A florist once told me, you can truly get away with TACKY at Christmas! If it's shiny and bright it's OK. Here are some photos - I started with our Paper Mache Cones and inked the edge with Mementos Love Letter Red ink. I then used Kaisercraft Mint Twist paper pad to cover the cones. I found the easiest way to create my template was to place the point of the cone at one corner of the paper and rolling it while I made a pencil outline of the shape.
