I altered a cigar box to make a gift box.     I used Prima flowers, Dixie Belle Chalk Paint, Sabor embellishments,Stencils with hearts, Gelatos, Art Alchemy Sparks Ginger Magic, fabric tape and MicaColor.  I used the lemonade chalk to cover the box. Then I  used the MicaColor to run the Sparkle Gold down the sides in drips. I took the Prima flowers and used a marker to color the edges and then sprayed with alcohol to blend the color. I use some textured cardstock and rubbed gold gelato on it to get a nice look.   I also used one of your stencils and cut out the bee medallion.  I used the Stencil and some Art Anthology to make a textured embellishment on the top and sides I used the seam tape and put the the ribbon on the top and side to keep closed. The ribbon is stained with the art alchemy Ginger Magic and distress ink.  I used a Sabor embel...

Love for All Ages  This was a fun project. I have a limited palette  of supplies and challenged myself to create! I am away from my studio as my family needed me urgently. So I threw my clothes in a bag and guess what I am away longer than expected. I feel confident that even with limited supplies that my AlteredPage Collage sheets help me express fun and get me away from the gloom! This is a card made for the long haul. I wanted to make a card that my mom could also display. I love collage work and also wanted to meet the lace challenge that was given to me by our team leader so this is my outcome. I am very thankful for Creative Arts. My life would be quiet empty and lacking color without art.  I felt this tag represents a flight of fancy.   The sketch (coloring collage sheet) moving from a coloring book look, to colored image to an actual "flower" is how my world is. I think many forget that everything was a "sketch" before it took shape and became "real".  I am so thankful to AlteredPages for allowing me to have this fun forum to express myself.
