A Collection of Tags for Valentine's Day

Hello friends.  Barbara here with a Valentine's Day project to share.  The  Altered Pages  design team are sharing a variety of projects following the "Heart of my Hearts" theme.  I decided to make a selection of tags, which can be used just as easily as a card, or placed onto a folded card as the focal image.  I cut six  tags  from kraft paper and a matching print paper layer from the  Happy Travels  paper pad.  They measure approximately 2-¾" x 6". Edge each print layer with  Mixed Media Salazar Inkx  in Leather, Schoolhouse Red, and Patina.  Adhere each layer to the matching tag and re-punch center hole in the top.  Adhere tag reinforcements (optional), as shown. Fussy cut collage images and arrange them on each tag.  The odd shaped strips of print paper at the bottom of each tag are remnants from when I cut the tags out.  Ink the edge of each image with the  Mixed Media Sala...

Happy Valentines Day! Eiffel Love You Forever Angel!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!   I love creating Valentines...   Today I used one of the Altered Pages wooden angels  to create this cute Eiffel Valentine!       To start remove the wire hanger for easier painting.... save if as it will be reattached in the end.  Prime the wooden angel with gesso !   Paint the angel with Pink Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint, let dry.  Cut arms and face from   Altered Paper Dolls Collage Sheet .  Using VersaMark on the arms heat emboss with clear embossing powder, repeat a couple of times (this stiffens the paper). Stamp image of Eiffel Tower  on tissue, heat emboss with clear embossing powder and adhere to the angel body.   Attach arm with Tacky Glue   Use Duo to attach Gold Leaf Foil . Adhere face from  Altered Paper Dolls Collage Sheet  to head. Ten attach Dew Drops to wings and head. ...
