ATC Fun

Recently I hosted an ATC swap on my blog and of course with the hundreds of Collage Sheets available at Altered Pages it was hard to narrow it down but I did... Wine a little ATC I started off with some Vintage Text papers for the background which I then stamped on some grapes.  I printed out several wine labels small enough to fit on my cards behind Stella which comes from the Vices collage sheet.  She's actually drinking gin but I used a bit of purple ink to color the "wine".  I printed out the sentiment, inked the edges with a bit of black in k. I Like Your STYLE ATC I used a few Pink Persimmon stamps for this atc... She's actually mounted over some old pattern paper that I stamped using a variety of the PP stamps.  I also added a small bit of washi tape , a button from my stash and a few dots of Stickles Glitter Glue for some sparkle to finish it off! Have you made any ATC's lately? Ink Stained Roni

AlteredPages is happy to Feature MELISA WALDORF  Hello Everyone! I’m Melisa. I live in Humble TX with my wonderful hubby of 28 years. I work part-time as a nurse in an out-patient surgery center. It’s gorgeous here in TX with temps in the 70’s. I hope you girls have had time to thaw out. This time of year I especially love sitting out on the back patio on my days off to do bible study and watch the birds. As well as ride my bike. I am currently designing with Pink Persimmon. I enjoy scrapbooking, stamping, and card making. I love mixed media and creating artist trading cards, altered art pieces, canvas’, and adding new pages to my art journals. There are sooooo many wonderful mediums to play with these days and I love getting my hands dirty trying new things, and sharing them on my blog Paperlicious Designs . Pink Persimmon & Altered Pages Valentine's Day Card

Yesterday's Two for Tuesday Altered Pages/Pink Persimmon Blog Hop was so much fun I thought I'd keep that fun going and post a card I made again combining Altered Pages and Pink Persimmon products. Today I have a Valentine's Day card I made using the PP stamp set called Little Red Wagon  and AP's collage sheet - 2265 A Piece of my Heart. The background was made using Schoolhouse Mixed Media Inx and a Nesting Doily die cut. I then added the die-cuts to the background, stamped & mounted the PP images to the card.  Finally I printed and cut out the vintage Valentines and tucked them in to the wagon. The little Casanova is even carrying an extra, just in case ;) So there you go... Hope you have a wonderful day ~ Ink Stained Roni

a simple set of vintage look winter white ornaments

Are you Christmasing?  I certainly am, almost non-stop it seems, and am trying to challenge myself to use non-traditional colors in some of my creations.  Here are some winter white,  vintage sewing themed ornaments, using a sweet new stamp available at Altered Pages : The stamp measures 2.4 by 3.4, so it's a perfect size for ornaments. I wrapped the cut-out cardstock with vintage trims and silk ribbons. (accented with clear Wink of Stella pen.) Be sure to check back Monday to find out what the December Altered Pages Artsociates Art Challenge will be, there will be lovely prizes as always!  (And yes, my post is a vague clue . . . ;) Have a lovely weekend, :)trisha
