Red and White is a fabulous color combination and perfect for Valentines Day and Love Themed Cards. Teamed with Black it adds a touch of elegance to any card and that is why I love the Black and White Paper Collection from Glitz available at Altered Pages.  Lyneen shared a number of cards this week using these papers also. Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here today!  Haven't the ATB Block projects been fabulous this month?  I actually don't have one to share today as the mail hasn't reached me in time downunder so instead I have been playing with some of the new Ink Products that are available at Altered Pages from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko. This year our Autumn has been one of the warmest on record for a number of years across the country and apart from the odd night or two we have not needed a jumper or overly warm clothing, which I love however  I am envious of those in much cooler climates who get to experience the magnitude of colors of a true autumn with falling leaves and crisp nights as the closest I get to such a sight is via the internet. Hello Everyone and a Happy New Year to you.  It's Danie here today and if you are like me and haven't got round to sending out Good Wishes to your Family and Friends for 2014,  it's not to late and Altered Pages has lots of wonderful collages just perfect for you to do this.  One of my favorites is AP2057 Children's New Year . My all time favorite image from this collage sheet is the one I used on this ATC which is one I made last year and sent to a friend.   For my Project of 2014 I turned to the same Collage Sheet for a sweet image to add to my Tiny Tag Book (ATC Size) using papers from the Glitz Unchartered Waters Collection .   I just love the patterns and colors of this paper collection from Glitz. Sadly I haven't been crafting much at all these past few weeks, my own blog has been very neglected.  I was in need of a birthday card so I used that as my excuse to get away from all the other stuff taking up my time and dug into my Altered Pages Stash where I ventured into ' Unchartered Waters '.  That's the name of the Paper Collection from Glitz which I used to whip me up a manly card.   The nautical based themes and colors of these papers are just perfect for a male card, nothing overly dark, not really any floral designs apart from one paper and they all coordinate beautifully together no matter which way you mix them up.  I love the slightly distressed look of these papers too as it suits my usual messy style. Hi Everyone!  Danie here today with just a quick post and it's a bit late also.  Having been sick the past few days after our return from Melbourne and now that winter is well and truly here you could say the title of my post sums up how I am feeling Vintage (old) and Blue.  But it really is the name of the Collection from Glitz that I have used for my card today. Altered Pages have a range of Glitz Paper Collections and coordinating trims, embellishments and stamps for you to choose from all of which have a wonderful vintage feel. This is my second Mother's Day without my Mother.  I would like to dedicate this post to all the Mom's out there.    Altered Pages has many images that would make beautiful cards and gifts for moms! Mothers love anything that is made from the heart.  I know first hand. When I was in the second grade I made a mug from clay. It was glazed and fired and I was really proud to give my special gift to mom. It was crudely made and way  too small to use for drinking. For years she kept little things in it on a book shelf. When I was about 18 I told her she could toss that ugly little mug. Her reply, "Oh no, this is a precious gift from my beautiful daughter." Happy Mother's Day Mom! Aloha! It's Gia posting for the first time on the Altered Pages Blog. I want to thank everyone in the AP Artsociates community, the members of the Design Team, and especially Jean for the warm welcome I have received. So far I am having a blast, and I have so much gratitude for the inspiration you provide. Are you a hoarder of supplies like I am? Sometimes I think I love to collect pretty things as much as I love to use them. I love all the beautiful papers by Glitz Designs and Graphic 45 that Altered Pages carries. They are both listed under Paper, Books, Tins, and Boards . Sometimes I feel this guilty pleasure when I am using such high quality supplies as if I should be saving them for something special enough.
