Gift Box  This turned out to be a fun project. I seriously wasn't sure it would work when I started and challenged myself to make it happen! Now I am so happy I did! Special Thanksgiving Greetings!

When I think of winter holidays the first one that comes to mind is Thanksgiving.  The weather is starting getting colder.  The days are shorter and the countdown to Christmas has started.  Before Christmas we have one other special day, THANKSGIVING!!!  This is one of my favorite family holidays.  It is a day of giving thanks.  A day that doesn't have a lot of hoopla.  Families and friends get together for a wonderful dinner, laugh and have a good time.     Today I have a few Thankful cards I will be sending to family far away.       Supplies: Altered Pages Collage sheet Thanksgiving Dew Drops Jolee's Leaves Card Base Pattern Papers Cardstock - Orange & Brown Glue stick Double sided adhesive   There is a lot of cutting and layering of papers!!!     Hope you enjoyed my cards!          

Sharing the Holiday Happiness

  My husband and I had walked into the local homestore today and I saw the Christmas aisles and a feeling of joy rushed over me.  I love the holidays! As I looked around, I was like a kid in a candy store.  The beautiful lights, ornaments and decorations put me in the mood to celebrate.  One thing I have been thinking of over the last few days is about people who aren't able to visit family and friends and how often they celebrate alone, sometimes even forgotten.  They don't need to be, though.  Remembering these people and bringing a warmth to their holiday season can be as simple as giving them a card.    I created this card to share the Thanksgiving happiness with someone.  For it, I used the embossing frame folder to create a mat for the collage photo.  After I ran the folder through my embossing machine, I cut around the embossed area and inked the edges.  I used the Happy Thanksgiving collage sheet for the phot...
