Welcome to Stencil Mania month! Today I have for you a mixed media canvas using a floral stencil as my focal point. I have provided a supply list with links to everything I have used at the end of this post. 8 x 10 canvas board decoupaged with pretty tissue. Top coated with matte medium. Beginnings of DIY texture paste using baby powder, glue, water and white paint (it smells great!) I have provided the recipe below. DIY texture paste divided up in three shades of white and turquoise using Dixie Belle Chalk Paint in Pure Gulf... Adding turquoise and white to background... The previous matte medium layer allows removal of paint layers if you desire. You can use a baby wipe to remove paint here or there.
