Hello!  I have a giant tag for you today.  You can put this on any gift or, use it on your tree or really anywhere as a great Christmas decoration.       Here are the items you need:   Tag Substrate - Here I cut out my own giant tag (approx. 6 x 8 inches) You can use any tag you like Paper - I used a variety of papers from my stash Collage Images - AP2045 Lovely Winter Blue Girls Embossing Powder - I used Emerald Creek Neon blue and Aurora Borealis Stamps Adhesive Acrylic Paint - Blue Music sheet  or vintage text    I chose the Lovely Winter Blue Girls Collage sheet because I like Christmas colors other than red and green. These were great to use and they have text you can use as well. I tore up several complimentary colors of papers. I did not use any strong seasonal prints here because I wanted the collage image and the stamped images to stand out. I adhere them to the tag in a random patter...

Only recently have I read about Frida Kahlo one of Mexico's most famous artists.  Just in her teens she suffered injuries from a bus accident that would cause health issues her whole life.  She was famous for her self portraits showing the pain she suffered. Her marriage was turbulent at times. Her art was an expression of herself and life.  A beautiful and compassionate woman, she died in 1947 at the young age of 47.  There is so much to learn about the life of Frida, I plan to pick up her biography and read more about Frida the artist soon. Fancy yourself a goat?  Decoupage is possibe many different ways. In this particular project I can have some control over the content. I used: Lost Coast Designs Rubber Stamps    Stazon Ink    Paper    Medium    Wood object to decoupage on    Stickles    Stamp your image of choice onto paper. Ink it to your tastes. Fussy cut it. Use medium over image and set aside to dry. Paint or draw or ink over image again if you wish. Medium on object, place image, more medium. Let dry. I used parts of the rubber stamped image to create more interest.  There you have it. It is ready to hang. I have had a manic week but managed to get this little piece created with some of the gorgeous images from Altered Pages .  I used a few different techniques on this one. I began by choosing three images from Altered Pages Celestial  Images collage printable The two white card  ATC cards were first stained with coffee and water and left to dry. With  washi tape  I bound the two ATC cards together. I used text and steampunk background stamps and brown ink on top of the stain.  After this dried I added watercolor patches on top of the stamped images for colour.  Once dried the images were fussy cut and collaged onto the background on both the back and the front (one image each) and the center three images. After the images were stuck down well enough and dried. I added more color with the paint. Added some scribbled border with a black pen, shading with the paints  and white dots front, back a...
