Hi, Jess here! Vintage Valentine's are the best. The have awesome graphics and super sweet sentiments.  I used an image from the  With My Love  sheet.  I blew this one image up and printed it on a heavy card stock. (OR YOU CAN ORDER YOURS PRINTED) Once it was fussy cut, I used a very fine silver glitter to pick up some highlights. ( WINK OF STELLA ) I had some small heart stickers with sentiments (OR YOU CAN ORDER STICKERS)   that matched this little guy perfectly.  I used a memo pin and glued them together using my hot glue gun.  (or you can use a sturdy cocktail pick)  I poked the pin through the card stock so he appears to be holding the pin. I made a GIANT crepe paper flower.  I used the same technique is showed you how to do here . I needed to make my guy pop off the flower, so in came the mountain of foam tape.  I cut a ton of tape and just kept stacking it until I had enough to reach the top of the f...

I have gotten a jump start on my holiday crafting and hope to inspire you to start too.  There are some many awesome images available from Altered Pages for your Christmas craft projects.  For this vintage tart tin ornament, I chose the kitten image from the  50's Christmas shee t. I punched the image out using my circle punch and set it aside. I used an awl to hammer a hole in the hop and a hole in the bottom of the tart tin .  I put a jump ring in each hole to make my hanger and the tassel. To make the hanger and tassel I dyed my  seam binding  by using my various  sprays .  I also took some bits of vintage lace to add extra interest.  I tied a single bit of seam binding though the top jump ring and just knotted it to secure it.  For the tassel I pulled the bits of seam binding and lace though the jum...
