Abstract Background for Pocket Altered Page

  I am so excited to share this project with you. I am totally new to the altered pocket Idea. It is fun and I am sure that I will get the hang of it. Another MD Hobby & Craft Steampunk Card

Today we share another technique using MD Hobby and Craft Metal foil technique!           MD Hobby and Craft Metal foil is perfect to stamp on... be sure you are careful when you  work with metal.  The edges of the metal are sharp!     Stamp the image on the MD Hobby and Craft Metal foil with StazOn ink, let it dry.  Trim the edges of the metal foil with Washi Tape.         Using Art Anthology with Punchinella  to add a little texture on the card. Adhere metal to black card stock with double stick tape.   Tie ribbon around the black panel before adhering to the brown panel.  Ink chipboard gear with black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.   Adhere to card with Tacky Glue!       Add Dew Drop to the clock with Tacky Glue!   Supplies: MD Hobby and Craft Metal Foil Steampunk W...

A Merry Mixed Media Tile for You!

Happy Friday everyone! Leslie-Rahye here sharing a festive art tile for you! I made the base of this tile on The Odd Show Live Reboot a few weeks ago...many have requested learning the technique--I share it with you here ! Memory Art Page | Tapped Out

Happy Friday everyone! I have been spending time in my art journal calendar this week, finishing my July pages, creating my August calendar page and adding some memories upon which to reflect. The page I did today uses images from the AP2027 Feats of Strength, the Tagged Alphabet, Maya Mist, Paris Trunk reinker, Sakura Crystal Lacquer, Glitz Peek-a-Boos punchinella and book paper from AlteredPages.com along with brown acrylic paint, gold sharpie marker and photos. The Process: The page was layered on an upcycled travel catalog and painted with brown acrylic paint and then swiped over the top with Walnut Ink Paris Ink Reinker . Punchinella was used as a mask with the Copper Maya Mist adding a mica rich shine and visual texture to the page. a piece of book paper was torn and attached using Sakura Hobby Crafts 3D Crystal Lacquer . Birdie Love

I love all of the collages available at Altered Pages, I can not have one favorite , but the bird one's are just adorable ! I was in the card making mood & these little birdies were staring at me , wanting to get used !!!! I used #2125 Little Spring Birdies and # 1561 Birds with hats !I first created a background using Punchinella  and a blending tool , loaded ink ( your color choice) and did various designs ! I also inked the edges. Then gave a quick spritz of clear glitter spritz...spray again your choice of product , I just wanted a little glitz ! I used my bird cage die from Altered Pages ...love love these dies !! I used glue to attach onto my background , added my birdies I had cut out with the crowns , after I glue them on I added some glitter to the crowns. The sweetest ever little group of birdies gathered for a visit were also attached using my tape gun , I put pearls on each corner .  I used a die cut banner and stamped the word "listen" , I taped th...
