Steampunk Altered Trading Block Tower

As you know this month Altered Pages has partnered with The Artists on the Block to share our Altered Trading Block creations using Eileen Hull's Sizzix Block dies . I was so excited because ATB's are so much fun, like an ATC on steroids! I knew immediately that I wanted to make a Steampunk theme block because AP offers so many great collage sheets that can be paired with that theme... so I got started and just couldn't stop at one! I ended up making a whole tower of ATB's! The bottom block was painted then covered with pieces from a glassine envelope that I disassembled, inked and stamped.  The center block was painted black and a different "Frankenstein Experiment" diagram was affixed to each side.  The top block was painted then I added torn bits of cork here and there.  I then applied Duo Adhesive to all the corners and sprinkled on metal leafing flakes. Got Steampunk? Tag - Sin City Stamps Paired with AP Goodness!

Today I wanted to share a tag that I made using both Sin City Stamps  and  loads of fun goodies available at Altered Pages ! This tag was so much fun to make... I just started adding layers and kept going till I was happy with the look. I used the following Sin City Stamps:  Time Flie s  "Got Steampunk" & Mini Gears from the  Steampunk Phrases set.   I also used the following goodies available at Altered Pages: Tag Vintage Text Pages Leaky Shed Gears Cork Sheets Glitz Washi Tape Memento Ink - Black Ink Blending Tool Niji Pearlescent Watercolors Waterbrush I also used a few brads and a bit of bronze paper from my stash. Materials  : G45 Steampunk Spells Glitz Rhinestones Glitz Stickers Ephemera Treasures AP Rubber Stamps : Time on Your Side Set Dylusions Stencils AP Silly Sticks Mix'd Media Inx Truffles and Black Adhesive Cork Sheets Liquitex Modeling Paste Ranger Distress Glitter Clear Rock Candy Foam Tape Burlap String markers Begin by adhering some pattern paper to a 4×4 cardboard square. With Modeling Paste stencil 2 sides of the square with a Dylusions stencil. I then poured microbeads from my Ephemera Treasureson the wet paste. The microbeads stay in place with the paste. Once dry edge the sides with Mix'd Media Inx Truffles. Stamp a new Altered Pages rubber stamp with Mix's Media Inx Black onto cork paper. Color with Sharpie Metallic and Brown Markers. Fall Decor Casting A Glow !!

Hi everyone ! Eunice here ! I have a super quick little fall decor item for you to make for yourself or as a quick little gift for someone special ! I have a collection of vintage jars , but you could use any jar that has a mouth large enough to fit a battery operated candle in ! I love the battery operated candles you can purchase now , especially the ones that come on everyday at a certain time  ! So you can have the glow , without the danger of a flame ! I created a tag to hang on the jar using the tags from Altered Pages  ! And in keeping with quick... I used paper from the Glitz paper pack , Yours Truly  ! Loved the distressed red paper , so I just glued it on , how easy is that ? No paint or ink !! I did stamp a fall stamp on the background and inked the edges ( cant help myself !  ) then  I used the new cork self adhesive sheets and cut out the letters for FALL !  So how easy is that too ?
