"Pearl" -Gel Press Collage Canvas

What to do with all of those amazing Gel Press prints?! Here are a few items I utilized: Gel Press     Brayer    Acrylic Paint    Paper    Canvas    Medium I began with an idea that had been percolating. Circle punched my chosen gel prints. Wait! You really need to see them. Acrylic paint on my canvas for "Pearl". There is a bit of texture on this. Let's place some Gel Press circles for ideas. Let's make it permanent. From another angle... Arts and Crafts with the kids!

Hi Everyone,  Jess here with some crafts you can do with the kids in your life.  I have so enjoyed working with the Activa product this month.  The clay is beyond amazing.  My daughter and I made these ornaments in no time at all.   Start by using a cookie cutter to cut the shape of your choice.  We used a tree and a star.  A small hole is poked in the top for an ornament hanger or string.  We used alphabet stamps to stamp in our words and set them aside to dry.  Once the ornament was dry we used Perfect Pearls (alternatively you can use MICA pearlescent paints) to color the tree.   We glittered the edge.  For the final touch we colored little pearls with alcohol ink to look like tiny ornaments.   The photos don't capture it, but we used the iridescent Perfect Pearl on the star.
