Earlier this month I shared a journal page which was the center spread for a Deconstructed Art Journal Swap I was participating in........today I am sharing the front of my created signature with you. Once more I am using one of the gorgeous Geisha Collage Images from Altered Pages, teamed with some left over G45 Papers from the Birdsong Collection.  I have used two different papers to cover the background and a couple more for accents, before adhering my chosen Geisha and then adding some black paint followed by some Metallic Rub On around the edges with my fingers.  I then sealed the surface using Gel Medium. The back page of my signature I kept fairly simple, given the pattern paper was busy and bold. Supplies used. Hi Everyone it's Danie here. Today I am sharing an item I am working on as part of a swap - A Deconstructed Art Journal Page. The theme is Geisha's so I started with a handmade background I had created at a recent class at my local scrapbook shop which was working with acrylic paint combed across a cardstock piece.  The curved lines created by the combing of the paint I thought resembled some of the fish scale like patterns that appear often in oriental themes. These types of projects allow you a chance to use up leftover paper scraps.  I had some left overs from the Graphic 45 Birdsong Collection. Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here today.  Are you a lover of all things Oriental.  I am!  There is just something about the tranquility, wisdom and  beauty of this culture that draws me in.  I collect Oriental Themed ATC's and today thought I would share with you a couple of Note Cards I have made using the wonderful background collages and oriental inspired images from Altered Pages.
