As you may know, I've been creating layouts in an Orient Express themed book, inspired by supplies from a past Mailbox Muse kit . Today we're boarding the train in London, and showing off a really nice, large background stamp from our partner this month at Altered Pages, Just For Fun Stamps : the Passport Stamp Background : See what I mean?  Nice, right?  But of course it's a background, so as I continued, most of it did get covered . . . Altered Pages has a great assortment of different city themed pages, including some beautiful ones featuring London .  I especially like the ones of old postcards. Are you enjoying the Halloween hop so far?  There will be more spooky goodies in the second part of this post, but for now, I have another layout from the Alice altered book I've been creating in (in case you missed it, here is the COVER , and here is the first WHITE RABBIT layout ), plus a little peek at an upcoming layout. First we have Alice, printed over a print of the corresponding text from the story, the background spritzed with Dylusions Inks , and colored and haloed with PanPastels . Welcome everyone to another installment in the  Altered Pages and Art Anthology cross promo month.  The Altered Pages Design Team is also taking part in the  Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween blog hop.   I hope you have been able to take a look at all the  fun we have been having.  Be careful...I might need to use my  Book of Spells on you.... I started my project with a vintage law book and  a few goodies from my Halloween decor supply.  I have a number of them laid out here as I was not quite sure which I would be using. I began by laying down a very thick layer of hot glue in a messy pattern onto the book.  I then embedded the plastic skull figure.  Next, I used the hot glue to make a spider web and adhered the spider with more hot glue.  The next step was to coat the entire book with gesso.  I will be painting the whole book out and the pai...
