One of my favorite times to create is January and February... Valentines is on the way and LOVE is all around us!  Today I have a manila tag created with the YOUNG LOVE collage sheet!           Supplies: Altered Pages Collage - Young Love Manila Tag Ink Red Mist Brown Luster rub Heart pins Flowers Tulle Lace German Foil Tacky Glue Glue Stick          Edge Manila Tag with Ink Red .  Spritz with Mist Brown and dry.  Apply Luster Rub  randomly to the tag.   Attach lace to the bottom of the card with Tacky Glue     Add image from Altered Pages Collage - Young Love with Glue Stick , then adhere German foil cupid.       Add Heart pins and Flowers  with Tacky Glue and let dry.       Be sure to stop by each day for more LOVE inspired projects. I'm Baaaaack! Becky here, finally! After a long hiatus from the team to move 30 miles across town & get settled through the holidays, I have finally unpacked my studio & ready to play with you all again! I don't know about you, but once the New Year is over, I start thinking "Valentines!" My sister & another gal-pal & I were saying that we love to make Valentine's cards, but hardly ever send them out to anyone other than our significant others & then we never see them again...they end up in a box for other loved ones to find when we're gone! Well, phooey to that! So, I decided to make an altered spool for my Valentine that can sit atop his desk for a bit {before it's placed in a box somewhere! LOL!} Altered Pages has so many wonderful images to play with for Valentines & other "Love" occasions, like weddings & anniversaries. Do you know what a " SILLY STICK " is? No, it's not something you "beat yourself SILLY " with!! It's this great, (and I mean GREAT !) little stick available at Altered Pages made just for the mixed media artist! Hi all! Becky here today to share this great tool I used on a collage I finished this week...It worked so much better than a brayer to get my papers nice & smooth onto the "canvas"!! I loved that it squished the excess glue out the edges for easy wiping! But apparently you can use it for all sorts of things, like spreading paint & making texture in your paint! A very handy tool indeed!!! Anyway...on to the collage I made with this lovely image from the " Young Lovers I " collage sheet.
