Calendar Swap Page

I had to share the December page from a 2012 calendar swap that I'm partcipating in.  Altered Pages has so many wonderful images and Christmas images are no exception.  This little calender features each month on a different page and is housed in a CD case.

Christmas Star Ornament

It's not too early to begin making Christmas ornaments to share and to keep.  I love the look of handmade ornaments on a tree or as an embellishment on a special gift.  This chipboard star ornament features an image from sheet #1862D - Very Vintage Santas.  A watch crystal was attached over Santa's jolly face and large flake glitter surrounds the dome.  Christmas ribbon was hot glued along the edges of the star and a dangling acrylic crystal adds a bit of sparkle.  Yep, it's time to plan your ornaments now...Christmas will be here sooner than you think! ~Dianne

Princess of Everything

Good morning!  Dianne again.  From the moment I saw the Princess of Everything rubberstamp , I knew I had to add her to my stamp collection.  She is perfect as the focal point on this paper mache box.  Possible uses for the Princess of Everything box  would be a centerpiece for a tea party or birthday party.  It would also make a unique gift box for your special princess.  Think of the possibilities...!

Hats Off To You

Hello!  Dianne here.  I love the color-themed collage sheets from Altered Pages.  For this card I used an image from #1855D - Beauty in Blue .  Don't you just love the big hat?  Along with the computer-generated sentiment "Hats Off To You My Friend", this is the perfect congratulatory card.   A bit of sewing,  paper doily and a sprinkling of glitter add interest.  I also stamped the image using a great script stamp .  This would make a quick and easy card for a deserving friend!
