Hi gang!   Continuing on with our month long cross promo with Just For Fun Stamps.  I know we all have a lot going on this time of year, so I am keeping my post short and sweet.   I know most of us say this every December and January, at least I sure do... "I am going to get this stuff cleaned up!"  So, I have decided to REALLY get that craft room organized!  Stop your laughing!!!   I am starting by putting my Just For Fun Stamps to work for me in getting this done.  I decided to utilize several identical bins for wrangling my most often used supplies.  I bought brightly colored turquoise bins at the Dollar Store.  They even have little built in handles, perfect for hanging a tag from.  So, that is where the JFF stamps come in.  I have two stamps that are just perfect for stringing with matching ribbon and using to labeling my bins.  I am using the Notebook Scrap and Old Medicine Bottle.  You can...

The hustle and bustle of Christmas is now behind us but we hope to keep the spirit of the season with us.  And now New Year's Day is right around the corner.  I enjoy New Year's because it's very festive and like a giant party.  And what do we toast in the new year with?  Wine!  Oh sure, you could drink champagne, but I prefer a nice sweet wine.  And what could be sweeter than this adorable little flower from Just For Fun rubber stamps ?  It's part of a trio of flowers, but I cut them apart to make separate blooms.  I stamped one of them with wine colored ink on a Glitz scrapbook paper.  I used a permanent fine point marker to hand-draw the flower into a wine glass!  Then I chose several images from two Altered Pages collages and some German scrap to make this card. I had to sponge some tan ink onto the paper in the background so that the wine glass would show up better.  It kept the polka dots from blending together....

Merry Christmas to you! When choosing some stampy goodness from Just For Fun Stamps, I didn't take into consideration that, well, this is DECEMBER.  So today for you I have a Queen of Hearts layout in the Alice In Wonderland altered book--but if you stopped by for some Christmas cheer, don't despair, as I've also added some photos of several of my favorite Altered Pages Christmas projects from years past. Hi Everyone, Danie here with you today. As you are aware we are teaming up with Just For Fun Rubber Stamps this month, so today I am sharing some really quick and punchy Christmas Tags using a selection of their StampTangle Stamp Designs (non Christmas, Zentangle Inspired). My first tag has a spray ink and gesso stenciled background with some Stamptangle Stamped and Punched Ornaments.  The ornaments were created by stamping of the StampTangle Border No 3 Stamp with Red Ink repeatedly across a piece of cardstock which I then punched my ornament shape from.  I was careful to ensure my edges of each stamped border met, and you can see where they did by the thicker line dividing my ornament in half.  A stamped Christmas Sentiment finished this off with some Green Seam Binding for my tie. Hello everyone!  So glad you stopped by.  I have one more Christmas card to share with you today.  I used a couple of beautiful stamps from Just for Fun , along with great products from Altered Pages , and I absolutely love how this turned out. Stamp  Holly Background  with Olive ink onto white card stock  Color with watercolor markers in green and blue.  Add Love Letter Pico Embellisher to each berry and set aside to dry.  Stamp   Large Cardinal  and just the wing onto white card stock with  Black StazOn  and color with Copic markers. Mix a sliver of  Butterscotch and Chocolate gelatos  into an  Ultra Fine Mist Sprayer  and shake well.  I have no recipe, I just added enough to get to the color intensity I wanted, which does not take very much. Altered Snow Globe Tag! I have always bought my mom Snow Globes for her Christmas presents. She loves them so. Unfortunately when hurricanes took away her home she also lost her large collections of Snow Globes. So I make this fun tag for her!
