Mechanical Heart

Jess  here today with  an awesome mechanical heart card. This is the first time I have ever used a digital stamp.  I don't know how I went this long.  I loved being able to play with the size.  This is the Sewn Heart from  Smeared Ink .  I printed my image on card stock and fussy cut the image. I actually printed the image twice so I could use bits and pieces to layer.   I cut a large portion out to make a window.                                              I added some mesh behind the heart and used double stick tape to hold it in place. Using my second image I covered the thin edge with washi tape and then cut it out to place on top of my full piece.  You can't really tell, but there is some Clearly for Art plastic on top of the mesh so it looks like the bolts are holding this piece in place.  The b...

May in Arizona (I think it is!)

Howdy Folks from cool and damp Arizona! It has been glorious in Phoenix and we are loving it! The down side is the pool isn't as warm as it could be by now, so swimming will get a late start.  The up side, the windows are all open and the breezes are fabulous.  It is usually in the high 90's to low 100's by now, today is 65 degrees!!   As promised, the Winner from our Mother's Day Linkup Blog Party is... Spring Sprouts I started by painting a large wooden spool with Terri Sproul Mica Mixers and then added green glitter (for Spring) I took my MD Hobby & Craft silver mesh and folded the raw edges over a ruler twice to make them snag free.
