Everyone still Halloween Hopping? ( Linkys are up in the right hand corner.)  So I started making a big hunkin' project, using (what else?) Altered Pages collage images, plus some pretty awesome Smeared digis, but  . . .  ended up with two smaller pieces instead.  First, Bettie and Bertram are still in hell, this time with a Dante's Inferno twist (Mr. Gargoyle is AP): All about the candy, oh yes! What do you think?  Is the blood on the toothbrush too much? Bertram and Bettie, still aflame.   (The wonderfully detailed pedestal/column is from S&S.) And second, an altered tin: Smeared digi  But not just ANY altered tin.  This one is a Halloween  PLAY SET! Mustachioed and behatted, ready to fly-- AP has a great selection of wings, btw-- MWAAA, big kiss, sweetie! Because, after all, ghouls just wanna have fun. Are you having a great time with the hop so far?  There are some fabulous  projects and pieces along the way, definitely a little something for everyone! Here is a, well, you can help me decide--I'm leaning towards calling it a  "tabletop collage." Now THAT is scary!  (Seriously, what's the point of Halloween if there isn't any candy?????) I have little easels, and thought about just setting this out, but I have a friend who LOVES Halloween, so instead made it an easel card: Just in case you've never seen an easel card: click for Super Simple Easel Card Tutorial (The horrified couple are of course from an Altered Pages collage sheet , the background was created from Dylusion Ink Sprays , and the flames are from a hand carved stamp .)  So, what do you think?  Is it more of a card, or a tabletop collage? It's been a hectic month and I think it's going to get even more so with the Holidays coming down the road very quickly!   I remember saying (I think it was yesterday) before you know it, we will decorating for Halloween - but it was in March!!! I have hesitated to do it, that is; to post anything Christmas, but I am seeing it out already. Considering our time frame to get things done, it really does have to appear sooner than later. Altered Pages Design Team member Leslierahye is hosting an International Fairy Day Blog Hop! We have several fairy collage sheets in out collection that are perfect for the  day. For this special occasion I have created a couple of "button fairies" using the  Altered Pages Collage Sheet called "Fairy Dolls" .  I have combined buttons, gears and other metal findings to create the fairies.   To make them wire together layers of buttons and gears to create the "tail".  Adhere image to a thin piece of chipboard, fussy cut the image and glue to the top button.  Add wings and gem to head piece.
