As a kid were there spooky woods near your house? There was near mine, in the daylight we would play and have a great time, but at night, well, that was a different story. To walk home alone from a friends house could be a frightening time. Noises and shapes in the shadows made it a quick trip for sure! I coated my substrate with Gesso Aspen Trees stencil by Victoria Case makes for a splendid background. In the finished piece I did a background of Orange Slice heavy body acrylic with the overlay of Kale Smoothie. (green+orange=brown). The torn corrugated was randomly coated with TCW Kale Smoothie acrylic and another random application of Quinactridone interference. (see the glow from the quinactridone) ...
