Hi Everyone, Jess here with an Alice themed tag.   I had this fairy stamp from  Fairie Song Stamps  and I wanted to use just the mushrooms.  I used my Staz On ink to stamp the mushrooms onto shrink plastic.   Once the ink was dry I colored in my images using colored pencils.  I poked holes in the top of the mushrooms, but didn't end up using the holes. I used my heat gun to shrink the images and set them aside.  Notice how intense the colors are! I always keep that in mind when I use shrink plastic.   I cut my Alice  image out and changed the words on her tag from "Drink Me" to "Eat Me."  I glued a tiny mushroom onto her hand and set the image aside. To make my background I used a dye ink and stencil.  Once I had the entire tag covered I shifted the image and covered up what I had just inked leaving the manila exposed.  I used a second ink color and then my whole tag was covered!   Hi Everyone, Jess here with a tiny fairy card.       I stamped my Faeire Song Art Stamps fairy image with  Staz-On  so when I water colored the image it would not smear.     I used my  waterbrush  on my craft sheet to work the color onto my fairy image.  Once the image was colored I fussy cut it.     I colored a white doily using an ink stain and dried it with my heat gun.  I like that the color is uneven.       The body of the card is a traditional card size, but I tore a strip off the side and inked it fading the color toward the center of the card.  A basic tan doily is layered under the stained doily.       I used some  stickles  to some of the flowers and hearts.  Vintage flowers add a touch of whimsy to complete the card.   I hope you enjoy her. Hi, Jess here! Vintage Valentine's are the best. The have awesome graphics and super sweet sentiments.  I used an image from the  With My Love  sheet.  I blew this one image up and printed it on a heavy card stock. (OR YOU CAN ORDER YOURS PRINTED) Once it was fussy cut, I used a very fine silver glitter to pick up some highlights. ( WINK OF STELLA ) I had some small heart stickers with sentiments (OR YOU CAN ORDER STICKERS)   that matched this little guy perfectly.  I used a memo pin and glued them together using my hot glue gun.  (or you can use a sturdy cocktail pick)  I poked the pin through the card stock so he appears to be holding the pin. I made a GIANT crepe paper flower.  I used the same technique is showed you how to do here . I needed to make my guy pop off the flower, so in came the mountain of foam tape.  I cut a ton of tape and just kept stacking it until I had enough to reach the top of the f...

Hi Everyone, Jess here with an altered library pocket for you. I lined the inside part of the pocket with a page from an old book k.  Once my page was glued down I started to add on acrylic paint with a dry paintbrush.  The photos make the paint look all brown, but it is a lovely shimmery copper color.     I stenciled  on a few designs using a permanent ink. I also added bits of  washi tape  and marker splatters.   I set this part aside to work on the outside of the pocket.   I used a piece of scrap paper to cover the front and I sanded the edges.   I used a sentiment from the  Valentine's of Youth   collage shee t.  I snipped it in half, inked it, and scribbled a black line around the edge.  I used the reverse side of the paper I covered the pocket with to back the sentiment.  A little bit of ricrac finished the front. Hi Everyone,  Jess here with some crafts you can do with the kids in your life.  I have so enjoyed working with the Activa product this month.  The clay is beyond amazing.  My daughter and I made these ornaments in no time at all.   Start by using a cookie cutter to cut the shape of your choice.  We used a tree and a star.  A small hole is poked in the top for an ornament hanger or string.  We used alphabet stamps to stamp in our words and set them aside to dry.  Once the ornament was dry we used Perfect Pearls (alternatively you can use MICA pearlescent paints) to color the tree.   We glittered the edge.  For the final touch we colored little pearls with alcohol ink to look like tiny ornaments.   The photos don't capture it, but we used the iridescent Perfect Pearl on the star.
