Here in Central Texas, as the Blue Bonnets bloom and warm breezes blow in the soft sounds of Spring, I await the loopy flight of dragonflies.     Until then I will create my own, with this lovely set: Muse Dragonfly Rubber Stamp Set .  I am going to use similar techniques I employ for my Art Journaling each day. My goal is to play each day. So just play and allow your instinctive creativity to set the pace and show you where to place your mark. Hi everyone! It's me  Tonya ! First off let me tell you I'm super excited to be a part of Altered Pages/Mailbox Muse design team. The thought of having hundreds of vintage images to create with simply makes me giddy. :-)   I want to share my first project I created using inks and markers from this month's partner,  IMAGE Crafts   and products from  Altered Pages .  If any of you know anything about me you know I love to alter things and use stuff that would normally be thrown away in a lot of my projects.  I started out with the empty packaging from one of those XLG Sizzix die cuts  and cut it down so I could run it through the diecut machine to cut the page out. Next, I embossed both ends with a small Polk a dot embossing folder. Then I inked the embossed surface and some of the edges with the following Emerald City, Blue Hawaii and Gothic Purple StazOn Inks.  Once the ink dried I dug into my own stash of scraps of paper...

Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here today.  Are you a lover of all things Oriental.  I am!  There is just something about the tranquility, wisdom and  beauty of this culture that draws me in.  I collect Oriental Themed ATC's and today thought I would share with you a couple of Note Cards I have made using the wonderful background collages and oriental inspired images from Altered Pages. The Collage Sheets I have used for this include AP-2118 Year of the Dragon AP-2205 Chinese Cherry and Bamboo AP-460 Japenese Text AP-314 Geisha AP-1724 Collage Backgrounds Oriental Japenese Yuzen/Washi Papers and Graphic 45 Papers from the Birdsong Collection have also been used on these cards.  I had the Japenese Papers already in my stash, but Altered Pages sells these also in their Asian Dream Pack here .  Cherry Blossoms and Dragonflies are one of my favorite things related to this culture.  To the Japanese the Cherry Blossom symbol...
