LOVE Blooms Eternal

Hearts burst out in bloom! Layers of Love Bloom on this piece which can be a card or framed mixed media.
I began with our luscious white corrugated paper, a Carefully used Stamp and 'gelpress' image papers.  I rubbed a pale red stamp pad over the corrugated. I wanted lots of layers with textures & interest.  Dew Drop hearts are whimsical.
Punchinella (also known as sequin scrap) is a fantastic accent. In total, I had 6 layers of papers and punchinella.  I handwrote Love Blooms Eternal and added it amongst the scrap.  Then I outlined in black pental pen.
Supplies include:
Ink pads
Kai scissors
Corrugated paper
Carefully used stamp
Aleenes Glue (or PPA glue)
Dew Drop Hearts
Black pen
Assorted papers

Love comes in many sizes and shapes. Plain Paper Mache at 90% off last year "after" sales. Painted with chalk paint base stenciled with Crafters Workshop Lacy Tiles Silver (front) and gold (sides and back) Gelatos fitted with embroidery trim inside and outside the "O" heart. Drying time allows the paper mache to absorb the paints and dampness, don't fear that the finished project will be wrinkled, it goes back to it's proper shape when dry.  The silver had a shine and subtle glimmer.

Creativation 2018 Phoenix AZ

You know you have arrived when you see signs like this lining the streets downtown. The convention floor was full of so much to see, I was there two days and didn't see it all! Graphic 45 always has a stunning booth, pictured is one of their new lines debuting at Creativation, Little Women.

THERE WAS TONS OF COLOR.... here is Bazzill Tim Holtz Assemblage booth was stunning with all the antiques and wonderful new products. Plaid introduced a new glitter paint!
Coats had this beautiful Octopus quilt in their booth.
49 Market was new last year in a tiny booth and this year they had 3 times the space.  They gorgeous papers, flowers and chipboard. I saw several of our past partners!

PRIMA, Royal Langnickle and Little Birdie to name a few! NEW TO ME was Stamperia from Italy.  They had beautiful papers and the altered art in their booth was out of this world.

There were a ton of Make and Takes... just not enough time to do them all.
