At least some of them.  You may recall in my previous post that I wasn't quite sure what would become of some newly pulled prints, created using a 6 inch circle Gel Press plate  (yum!!).  Some prints were pulled as singles, others were printed over larger, previous gel plate prints, like this one: Well why not make those circles spotlight type frames for other images? Showcasing text, as here: You can see the circles repeated in the pink paint circles and the tiny pom pom trim lining the side. Hi Everyone, Jess  here with a quick wrapping project that you can customize for any occasion.  You will soon discover I have a thing for anything with wings- birds, fairies, butterflies, you name it.  I figured there is no better way to kick off my posts than with a bird project.   I started with a 7X5 inch white craft bag and some doilies.  I folded the doilies in half and wrapped them around the bag.  I played with different size and colors until I came up with a combination that would work with my image. Once I made my decision I used my  double sided tape  to adhere them to the bag.   I chose the hummingbird image from the Altered Pages  Birds with Hats Collage sheet .  How can you not love a bird wearing a crown?! I cut out one full image and then trimmed just the butterfly on the crown out of a second image.  All of the images were inked around the edges to hide the white paper they are printed on. ...

Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here with you today.  This month we are teaming up with the Robin's Nest and I have chosen to work with their Sorbet Glitter Papers which are just perfect for your Spring and Easter creating. Today's project is a simple one - Spring Toppers and they are perfect for adding to a multitude of projects from Cards, Tags, Scrapbook Pages and ATC's. Thinking Spring I thought the Aquamarine Sorbet Paper from the Robin's Nest coordinated fabulously with the vintage bird collage sheet Chirpy Goodness from Altered Pages.  Besides most people know I love my birds!  For contrast I used some Shocking Pink Sorbet Paper too.  I have used this to punch a small strip of cherry blossoms using one of my border punches and have then layered a paper/fabric flower over the top. In the late 1800's "Women's hats were decorated with wings, breasts and whole birds. Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here today, with some little quirky feathered friends I have been doodling and painting just for fun using a mix of Splash Inks and Gelatos which are two fabulous mediums available at Altered Pages . For my backgrounds I used a variety of Stencils with my Splash Inks and then colored in some of the white space with a bright yellow Gelato. My birds have been painted with Splash Ink, and doodled over with both black and white pen and they wouldn't be complete without their feathers/crown.  This is something I love to create just to relax as it involves playing with color, getting messy and doodling, how about yourself, is their anything you love to create just for you? I have one other ATC to share today which uses one of the pieces of this same Splash Ink Background.  The Red in this one I thought gave it an oriental look and was a perfect compliment to this beautiful Geisha I had sitting spare on my desk. Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here today sharing a quick card I made which came together easily and beautifully thanks to the coordinating range of Glitz Products and a few other items available from Altered Pages . I used items from the Glitz Vintage Blue Collection which includes 6 x 6 Papers , Clear Stamps , and Trim .  It all coordinates so beautifully together. Also from Altered Pages is the new Two Scoops  Two Tone Textured Cardstock from Bazzill Basics, the Fabric Flowers and the Gold Niji Pearlescent WaterColor I used to color in my image with.  All of these items were part of a recent order I received and have been playing with. The Espresso and Mustard Seed Ink along with the Gold Metallic Dew Drops and Cream Cardstock are the only other things I had to add from my other stash. I have torn and sanded back the piece of dark brown Two Scoops Cardstock to reveal the lighter core color while using another piece which I haven't sanded for my card base. ...
