Here's a fun way to incorporate stencils into your art...     Simply apply a bit of gesso over a stencil. It creates an amazing texture that can be highlighted in all sorts of ways. It's the last Friday of the month and I wanted to quickly share the above journal page that I created for myself using a ton of AlteredPages goodies. The image on the bottom right serves as a small pocket to hold a letter I've written to myself about the impact of the ImPACT [a cognitive testing system used to determine if patients have suffered a concussion] on my life over the last 8 months. The journaling lists the symptoms and restrictions of our concussion patient. We lived through this not once but twice in the past 8 months--you could say it's had an impact.
