The news I promised to share with you that has me very excited is the news that I am now on the team of designers at Altered Pages. I am absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity with such a fabtastic crafting company. Also it will be such a great focus for me and such incredible products to work with.
I decided to use some of the gorgeous images from the digital download section at Altered Pages. I used the cutest ever boys collage sheet' 3116 Young man'. I chose two really gorgeous images and they printed out beautifully.
Other products:
vintage book text paper
distress inks
gorgeous twine
blue marker satin ribbon from my stash
Small acrylic stamps from my stash
3d butterfly sticker
I created the tags, cut fish and netting background texture on my die cutting machine (Scan and cut ) using a good quality cardstock.
After cutting the tag shapes I coloured them with distress inks using a sponge blender and then blended well I also added waves with a blue alcohol marker to the top tag. I coloured the fish shape the same way.
The second tag background was made using text paper mod podge onto the tag and then when dried I distressed in the same way.
The images I fussy cut out as I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to cutting out images. I also cut out the stamped images and glued to the tags. I finished off with the twisted twine and pale ribbon from my stash.
