Dixie Belle Card

I rarely if ever use store bought cards and my sweet husband will ask me to make a card on occasions that he needs to give one. This week was one of those occasions.  He doesn't like the flowery girly cards, when he gives one it must be a masculine card!!!

Today with my Dixie Belle Paints I created this beauty!

Supplies:
Dixie Belle Paint Sea Glass
Dixie Belle Van Dyke Brown Glaze
Dixie Belle Swamp Mud Texture Medium - White
Altered Pages Lighthouses Collage Sheet
Card Base
Two Scoops = Brown Cardstock
Chipboard - from the back of a tablet
Corrugated Cardboard
Burlap
Tacky Glue
Glue Stick
Double Sided Tape
Dew Drops
Shells

On the Corrugated Cardboard add some Dixie Belle Swamp Mud Texture Medium - White to create a beach, let dry!!

On Card Base lightly paint with Dixie Belle Van Dyke Brown Glaze, let dry.

On the Corrugated Cardboard add some Dixie Belle Swamp Mud Texture Medium - White to create a beach, let dry!!

Over the Dixie Belle Swamp Mud Texture Medium add a little Dixie Belle Van Dyke Brown Glaze to create a little beach, let dry.   Use Tacky Glue to attach burlap off side.

Attach the  Altered Pages Lighthouses Collage Sheet with Glue  Stick to a piece of brown cardstock.  Tie some burlap twine around the mounted image.

Add embellishments shells and Dew Drops with Tacky Glue

 I hope he likes it...
I just love how it turned out!
