Get Well Spoon

Giving Some Sugar to Your Loved Ones
         This Cold and Flu Season?
Here's a Spoonful of Sugar to Help
         The Medicine Go Down.

When sniffles and achy bones derail holiday cheer, creating a light heart can make the experience bearable.  This "Get Well" card uses many lovely items from Altered Pages!!

(Here are the ingredients I "cooked" with):
Clear Embossing Powder
Cardstock with Printed Sentiments
Brown paper bag scrap

Resized image, printed on cardstock, adhered to burlap.
(Notice I glued the burlap up over the Merry Christmas sentiment.)

***
Coated spoon in pigment ink and embossed with clear powder.
(I heated and covered with powder 5 times to make it glossy.)

***
Glitter to fill the specimen bottle and glued in spoon for sugar.
(A drop of glue in the bottom, fill, and a drop on top to seal.)
***
Assemble parts and sentiments, adhere into place.
(Isn't this so sweet?!)

***
Adhere printed sentiment onto paper bag
and into the inside of card.
(Be creative, use your imagination for those you care for.)

  2. I know this would cheer me up if I got the flu! I am thinking why not put on a small bag and putting in instant chicken soup and a small pkg of tissues!
