Traveling with Altered Pocket Letter Pages!

Here we are again having fun with Altered Pages collage sheets and Protector Pages!!
In this post, I am sharing some of my beginning stages of my ATC's for my Altered Pocket Page which I am calling "Traveling".

My very first steps were to reprint collage sheets as my previous ones ended up flooded under a whole cup of hot black coffee!
Bummer- I lost my whole cup of coffee! teehee
I mean-I have to laugh right? Back to the printer and then,so what if I had to re-cut all of my images! This glitch could have been worse- what if the atc's were completed? Argh!
Oh well! On to my project...
Here are some photos of my fancy cut Altered Pages collage picks assembled into the"state"piles

Florida, you get the idea?
I first adhered vintage map pages onto my atc cards.
Next, I added a bit of color to the maps
and then onto the assembly!

These four still need embellishments added and a bit of tweeking needed, but I wanted to give you an idea of just how much collage fun you can have with Altered Pages collage sheets!
I do so hope I was able to inspire you to create your own Pocket Letter Page with ATC's!
Order some college sheets And cut away!(just make sure your drink is at a safe distance!)

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
