Today I have a fairy mask to share with you.  I've had this mask for over a year and have been waiting for the right time to play with it.  I've included a Snapguide tutorial here so you can follow along.

Check out How to Decorate a Fairy Halloween Mask by Robin Horasanian on Snapguide.

I can't wait to wear it on Halloween night!

I have an easy Halloween card to share that uses the same wonderful Art Anthology paint for the gargoyle.  He was stamped three times.  The entire image was glued in place, then his head down to his hands is another piece mounted with foam squares.  The final layer is just his head, which is also attached with foam squares so that he looks like he is leaning out over the card.  Eyes and tongue are gel pens.  The graphic image of the girl is on the Halloween Postcards collage sheet.  The clock and gear die cuts and alphabet stickers are from my own stash.

  8. I am sure you will get many admiring compliments when you wear your mask.
The gargoyle card is beautifully composed. It makes me smile to remember my mother and her friends cutting images apart for craft projects.
Of course none of them were gargoyles.

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
