Howdy from Sunny Arizona!

for a nice surprise!
I played with Art Anthology Dimensional Crystals this week. I do like them because of the texture and glimmer they give to art. This piece allowed me to have fun experimenting.
I actually added quite a few elements as I played. First I took a canvas board ( we carry various sizes at very affordable prices) and brushed it with the Sunbeam color. I love the purity and brilliance of the colors. You can see some of the great texture but sadly the sparkle doesn't show up too good. Make sure to visit the store to see all the fabulous colors and styles of Art Anthology textural paints we have.
DAY 19 of the 31 Days of Halloween
Next I used washi tapes to color block the corner.
I added a diecut scrap (which I think are often as interesting as the die cut!) with 1/8 inch Double side tape.
I have had this young lady, with the frightening hair, stamp for years and always thought of using her but the time never seemed right until NOW. I used a Micron pen and wrote the word EEK on her shirt.
I then used a stamp from a Halloween set of stamps for the starry sky and the arrow. As you can tell I rarely do 'reality' art, I like to just let it happen in happy ways.
But what was she afraid of to cause the EEK? I printed a transparency of Children (AP 659), cut them apart & placed them hovering ghostly around her.
I would say EEK if this was happening around me! I enjoy the simplicity of this piece. Hope you enjoy this little canvas.
