TIME TO FLY AWAY MY LOVE

During the month of July Altered Pages is partnering with Leaky Shed. Today I am sharing a scrapbook page. Scrapbooking was one of my first loves, that is  until I started working with Steampunk jewelry and collages.

"Time To Fly Away My Love"

This page has a little story! Here we have two birds that have been very much in love.  One of the birds is about to escape from the bird cage and take flight. Kissing his partner he softly whispers, "Time to fly away my love."

The Leaky Shed birdcage is decorated with glitter pens. Attached with adhesive dots on the Leaky Shed game spinner are little alpha beads spelling "Fly Away".

The flowers are colored with Metalic Rub-ons, self adhesive Glitz Rhinestones are the centers. Fluttering from the flowers are butterflies in flight,  fussy cut from a Butterfy Collage Sheet.  The base page has clocks on it signifying time is flying."
