Go Where I've Never Been Steampunk Tag

This month Altered Pages has teamed up with Leaky Shed Studio - a maker of fine chipboard and cardstock embellishments for the scrapping, mixed media and card making world.

I was so excited when I found out I was going to be able to work with the Ornithoper (pronounced  [awr-nuh-thop-ter].  It has such a great Steampunk look and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it...

I started off by inking up the tag using a vareity of inks.  I then stamped several fun images from Altered Pages onto the tag.  I then added a dash of metal leafing here and there (adhering it using Duo Adhesive).  After the tag was dry I added the inked gear, travel ephemera, Dream Bingo card, sentiment and the fun Ornithoper!

I added a few additional embellishments to the tag...inked flowers, a beautiful wing charm and topped it all off with a bit of sari silk ribbon.

For additional detailed information on how I created this tag check out my blog post -
