SPLASH INKS

We are so excited to offer new products for YOU.
 SPLASH INKS & WATERBRUSHES

This is something that is near to our hearts, as the inventor is Karen Elaine (Parsons) Thomas.  Karen is a cancer survivor and supporter of all people going through any type of cancer treatments.   Karen has a Facebook page where she shares creation of Origami Cranes that each carry a prayer or well wishes.  Thanks Karen for being a compassionate person as well as amazing artist!    Karen lives in Arizona in the lovely Verde Valley, north of Phoenix in the high desert.

Below is a video of the products including the waterbrushes that work so well with the highly pigmented acrylic emulsion.   Only 4 colors and you can make endless palettes of color from the color mixing charts provided to you.  We also send basic instructions for beginners.  Order before our initial stock is gone in a flash!

  2. These are a fabulous idea. Do you know if you can change colors in the marker, or once the nib is saturated is that pen always dedicated to that color?

Handy Tip for Artists, Recyclers and Neat Freaks! I have a follow-up to the Citra-Sol method for creating fabulous background pages and collages.   I bought a big bag of navel oranges and realized I had the ingredients to make my own solvent!   Simply take a clean glass jar, peel the rind from the oranges and place all the rind/peels, without the pulp (tangerines, oranges, navels) into the jar.   Pour enough vinegar over the peels to cover them.    Allow the jar to sit for a week or two and VOILA!     You have made your own solvent for literally pennies.    You will notice the liquid getting a bit thicker than the plain vinegar and it does not smell bad!!! I now have a  HUGE jar on the window sill!       Be careful and only use this after testing on a safe spot.
