Hi Everyone it's Danie here today with my first post here on the Altered Pages Blog. So I thought I'd start with a little creation that gives you a bit of an insight to me!
It's an ATC that says it all as I do have trouble with these four letter words - Cook, Wash, Iron and Dust. They are all things I avoid doing until I really cannot anymore, because I'd much rather be in my craft room playing with the fun Altered Pages Collages sheets such as the one I have used for my project today. Lucky for me I married a Chef and he is very supportive of my crafting. I love making ATC's, bright colors and creating my own backgrounds. Today's ATC Background is a quick watercolor wash with some sponged ink stenciling done with a piece of punchinella. You will see that I use punchinella a lot on my projects particularly to add texture to my canvases. I have computer generated my quote. All my edges have been inked with Vintage Sepia and Pink ink which was also sponged over my wording.

This is such fun, the 50's collages are some of my most favorite. Life seemed to be simpler then and it's so much fun to make fun of all the high-heeled housewives! Great project!!!
