Happy Friday! I made a fun pirate card using three mini map stamps from Lost Coast Designs. The set contains three Old World maps in a size that is perfect for artist trading cards. I combined them all on one card to help my pirate find his way. Look at the fine detail on this map. The fine print can be easily read and the fine lines on the map stamp clean. All of their stamps are fine quality. For this card, I stamped each of the three map images on ivory paper and water-colored the images using Gelatos and a water pen. I used the brush right on the pigment to pull small amounts of color at a time. The same colors were used on each of the maps to give them a vintage feel. The layered design left spaces on the card base so I covered the entire card with the same colors as the maps to allow the design to blend together nicely.
