Hello Everyone, HAPPY MONDAY! Today I have a Valentine for you! A lovely modern style card for someone special. Red is such a romantic and powerful color, I hope you enjoy! For this project I used: Altered Pages collage sheet 3196 in two sizes Altered Pages red brick image or use the brick Stencil  Adhesive Fabric scraps Red satin shimmer paper 8 1/2 x 11 (folded for card) Misc. love quotes on vellum Gloss medium Clear crackle medium First, I fussy cut the heart images I wanted from my printouts ( I used original print then sized it down to a half page for smaller hearts). Then I cut the brick image, removing some of the "bricks" to give it a more interesting appearance. I certainly could have used the image as it printed but I like to add more interest since the hearts are fairly even shaped.  Now I take the lovely red paper that has a "glimmer of shimmer" to it, and fold it in quarters. Hello! This is my last post for a bit as I'm having hand surgery. This month we are all about LOVE making the world go around and I'm recently into journaling. So... Today I have some Amor themed journal tags to show you. SUPPLIES: Paper (Sabor Amor) Acrylic Paint Tags Adhesive Serviette paper Ribbon and lace Jewel or Gem embellishment These are the items I started with, I used most and added some more! I started by painting the tags with acrylic paint. Just in a random way using a light color for the base. Added some more coordinating colors in random patterns and used a white acrylic, watered down for my splatter pattern. I used pieces of the vellum serviette round behind my images. Then I used some textured green paper from my stash to add some visual interest in a coordinating color. Glued some lace to the bottom edge. Hello, I hope you enjoyed the Christmas Holiday! Today, I have a sweet little vintage style lady done in tones of purple and green with a touch of paleness in her skin tone to represent the Winter, with the hope of Spring to come. Hello, I hope you are enjoying the season! Today I have a fun project for you. A Santa theme domino book. Supplies you will need: Dominos - you can use any size, wood, plastic, ivory, whatever. Collage images   3002 Santa Place cards - scaled them down to fit my domino. Lace Adhesive German Scrap - Dresden Acrylic paint Scrapbook paper Stickles Embellishments Sealant Alcohol ink and rubbing alcohol Here are my papers, lace, dominos and scaled down collage images.  Drop on the alcohol inks in a random pattern. You can use acrylic paint for this as well. I dried the ink and then, using a dab of rubbing alcohol on a tissue, I blotted the pattern down a bit to give it a more marbled look and lighten up the colors. Using watered down black and white gloss acrylic, I use a splatter technique to add some interest to my ink pattern.  Once dry, I spray with acrylic sealer. Hello!  I have a giant tag for you today.  You can put this on any gift or, use it on your tree or really anywhere as a great Christmas decoration.       Here are the items you need:   Tag Substrate - Here I cut out my own giant tag (approx. 6 x 8 inches) You can use any tag you like Paper - I used a variety of papers from my stash Collage Images - AP2045 Lovely Winter Blue Girls Embossing Powder - I used Emerald Creek Neon blue and Aurora Borealis Stamps Adhesive Acrylic Paint - Blue Music sheet  or vintage text    I chose the Lovely Winter Blue Girls Collage sheet because I like Christmas colors other than red and green. These were great to use and they have text you can use as well. I tore up several complimentary colors of papers.
