I have a favorite stamp for Male Cards that is available at Altered Pages.  It is called Thick and Thin and given we are focusing on Men this month I couldn't resist using it. I stamped it onto a kraft colored tag and then layered it onto a combination of papers, cardstock and border edges in manly tones from Authentique and Bazzill.  A circle sentiment stamped and punched out added a greeting. We all have the gift we forgot about. Last minute shopping. No time for wrapping.  For last minute wrapping I like to have a few large tags ready and waiting to decorate a big brown bag and festive tissue to use inside the bag! Here is a tag I will have on hand just waiting for the perfect last minute gift! Skeletons are perfect birthday card fronts for special people; like this one for Betty. Here are the items I used for my creation: Lost Coast Design Stamp    Gel Print    Paper    Ink and Paint    Embellishments    Collage Images and Text    Stencil    Using one of my gel prints with a lot of texture... ... I stamped the image with Stazon ink. Using a stencil I layered Pan Pastels: Using the fabulous images AlteredPages.com has, I inked a quote and cut it up and trimmed around another transparent image: Then I layered everything from mediums, paint, inks, paint pens, etc... Finally finishing off with embellishments and Stickles. I had so much fun with these great rubber stamps from our Product Partners this month. Show us what you created! Ciao for now, -Trish Alger

Gel Press fun is great art therapy!  Printing onto odd bits of paper, textiles, cardboard shapes...voilà!!! This supply list is just a jumping off point: Gel Press    Canvas      Paints    Brayer    Papers    Embellishments     Gilding    Prills    Mica Flakes    Adhesives    I chose a metallic paint to cover the canvas. Then a few colors to brayer for the Gel Press. I pressed a cardboard shape into the marbled paint and set aside.  Then I pressed the Mandala Gel Press onto the dried circle and set aside again. Using the brayer, I loaded up the Mandala Gel Press and pressed it onto the canvas surface. Like a big stamp. Lightly brush the metallic paints over the images to help them blend in. Queen Victoria deserves her own regal turn at an ATC. This crazy idea came to me after I watched a demonstration on bead gel medium. What if I could stamp an image on the 1st layer of color; would it show through the cured bead gel medium? Well, let's see how it came out. The ingredients list included: Gel Bead Medium  (substitute  Gel Medium ) ATC Paper, Board, Etc...   (3.5" x 2.5") Art Anthology Paint    Queen Vee Rubber Stamp   Stazon Ink    Splash Ink    I cut a piece of watercolor paper to the 3.5" x 2.5" ATC standard size and scraped an even layer of Fiesta  Art Anthology Paint   and set aside to dry.    Using the  Stazon Ink   I stamped the  Queen Vee Rubber Stamp   Nice and crisp we could stop right there, BUT I couldn't.
