New Year holiday card

Greetings! We're sharing holiday projects with you this month and I have a quick and easy New Year's collage card. The collage images at Altered Pages can be great for every project from a basic note card to a complex and intricate 3D project. Your imagination is the limit. At least that's usually the only limitation. I have another one right now. About 95% of my crafting items are in storage boxes. That's okay because these few collage sheets I had pulled out for Christmas were great choices for a quick little card. Gum Box Urn

Gum Box Urn by Debi Tullier Halloween is a fun time for me. I love making "haunted" pieces for everyday use. This little gum box will be filled with buttons in my sewing room! What fun I have so glad that you are here! You Spin Me 'Round--A Valentine Carousel

Valentines and Merry-Go-Rounds--I don't think there could be a sweeter combination. Ok, admittedly there's peanut butter and chocolate, but a Valentine Carousel wins the non-food category.  I'm Betsy Skagen of Paper Calliope and while I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I managed not to eat any while I was making this carousel and thus smudge it with chocolate. (Though, I can't claim the same thing for my keyboard). Tutorial to make the Vintage Valentine Carousel Begin by painting the individual components of the chipboard carousel frame with red, white and pink acrylic gloss paint. After it dries, assemble the carousel frame (except for the top) with a strong adhesive and cover the entire thing with a couple coats of gel medium . Let dry.  Paint both sides of the horses with acrylic paint in pastel colors. Dry, then cover horses with gel medium . Dry again.  Print out hearts from To Thine Own Self be True C...
