We adore the Jule Nutting Prima Tag Pad. Here are some experiments using Prima products that made me happy.   Using the PRIMA tag pad,    Prima florals,  some Splash Inks, alcohol inks, seam binding that I dyed, pen, gold ink and stamp pads.   I  will carry my Prima Tag Pad with me everywhere, so easy to create when traveling, or in a free moment.    Since watercolor paper absorbs, I tried simply dropping ink onto the paper and watched it flow.  I think it was pretty OK.  The inks absorbed beautifully on the seam binding.  I also dropped some ink onto some of the flower stamens to make them pop. I was 5 years old in this photo.   On this tag, I dropped ink and then used a stamp pad to color the white areas.   I used gold ink (on my finger to edge the paper).  I wrapped some gold thread from my stash too. HELLO LOVELY READERS ~ I AM SHARING CREATIVE SPRING THEMED WOOD BLOCK PROJECTS TODAY.    We had a class for Spring wood blocks this past week.  I was blown away by the creativity of the participants.   We provided the basic parts and pieces and let them have at it!   One of the girls is so afraid of creating and wound up with an awesome out of the box creation!  This is one of my projects ~ We began with raw wood blocks  3.5" x 4.5"  I also added a brand new copper penny and a yellow ceramic butterfly plus the glass knob.  More blocks, with a Shabby look The wood was painted in an array of Spring colors using  DecoArt / Americana paints . Some girls used sandpaper to soften the edges of the blocks after paint was applied.  This provided a lovely shabby effect. Red and White is a fabulous color combination and perfect for Valentines Day and Love Themed Cards. Teamed with Black it adds a touch of elegance to any card and that is why I love the Black and White Paper Collection from Glitz available at Altered Pages.  Lyneen shared a number of cards this week using these papers also. Today I have a quick, lots of layers card using a selection of papers from the Black and White collection suitable for both Valentine's or Birthday Greetings.  It is staring a beautiful earth spirit from the Fairy Doll Collage Sheet. Hi everyone! It's me,  Tonya  and I'm here to share a quick and simple project for this month using some of my favorite  Altered Pages  supplies and I got to try my creativity with some of the printable film from this month's sponsor Craft Attitude. I 'm going to show you how to create a gift card holder from a tag so lets get started. The base of this gift card holder is created from a  #10 tag (4 1/8"x8 1/2")  and  all you need to do is fold as shown below. Also ink all edges of the tag in red. I cut  cardstock  to fit the inside and then adhered to the tag. I didn't cover the inside of the "pocket" since it won't be seen. I did the outside of the tag the same as inside. Next I punched a tiny hole in the center of the flap and threaded the  twine  through and tied off on the backside. Hi Everyone!  It's Danie here today!  Haven't the ATB Block projects been fabulous this month?  I actually don't have one to share today as the mail hasn't reached me in time downunder so instead I have been playing with some of the new Ink Products that are available at Altered Pages from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko. This year our Autumn has been one of the warmest on record for a number of years across the country and apart from the odd night or two we have not needed a jumper or overly warm clothing, which I love however  I am envious of those in much cooler climates who get to experience the magnitude of colors of a true autumn with falling leaves and crisp nights as the closest I get to such a sight is via the internet. So as we bid farewell to our Autumn here in Australia I decided to make some Falling Leaves ATC's.
