Tag--I'm it!

At the beginning of this year I had the reasonable--and not a bit lofty--intention of participating in Mr. Holtz's 12 Tags of 2015.  That lasted exactly one month. Hey, what can I say? I'm a busy gal!!!! So now it's October and I am finally getting back to the 2015 tags. I'm Betsy Skagen of Paper Calliope and while playing a little catch-up, I decided to make the August tag with a--gasp--October theme. You better alert Homeland Security since I'm such a rebel. One nice thing about being a non-conformist is that I don't feel I have to adhere to a certain product list. As a result, I decided that Altered Pages eye-catching images would be downright boo-ti-ful for a Halloween tag. Monster Ball! Halloween Ornament! Day 31 of the 31 Days of Halloween! I love Halloween not for the Scary Boo stuff but for the time we spent with our family watching old Monster Movies and being together. Time has moved on yet when we do reunite when the time is right we can’t resist reliving  our love of Monster movies! Darkness belongs to the dead... Canvas

Darkness...I wanted to make a really dark/spooky canvas for Halloween and I think this fits the bill..... H is for Halloween!

Back again for another fun and spooky project during this month long celebration of Halloween! Welcome to day 25!! The card blank was created by inking black cardstock over the very fun cyclone stencil from ArtAnthology (gotta love that design!). I stared off by painting the mini paper mache cone with Art Anthology's Limeaid adding lots of texture as I applied the paint.    Next I painted several sizes of the Art Anthology Embedibles with Imperial (purple) Dimensional Paint and left them to dry over night.  ...
