Today, I have for you a couple large Halloween themed tags.  I used the same  Crafters Workshop stencil  and one  Raven themed collage sheet  as the jumping off point for my two tags.  I used similar products and even similar placement for each element.   You will see however, that I acheived two completely different looks.   I also used a newer item to Altered Pages,  Tyvek envelopes  to create beautiful DIY flowers.  I will include a seperate tutorial on the flowers at the bottom of this post.   You really must try this technique!!!  It is 100% addictive.  Let's begin... What a witchy night in the woods among the spooky trees!!!! Supplies: The Crafters Workshop - Tree Branches stencil Altered Pages Collage Sheet- Witching Hour Altered Pages Collage   #1820 Quoth the Raven Nevermore (printed on transparency) Large Tag Gelatos - Red, Yellow and Purple Water brush Blending tool Black ink Shimmer Mist Spray Mist  - red Large Rhinestone Glue stick Ribbon With Water brush  spread  Gelatos - Red, Yellow and Purple on wet  Large Tag .  Set aside to dry. With The Crafters Workshop - Tree Branches stencil  randomly apply Black ink  on the  Large Tag  with a Blending tool .   Add a bit of Spray Mist  - red and Shimmer Mist . Rub around the edges of tag with Black ink . Cut All Hallows Eve from Altered Pages Collage Sheet - Witching Hour  use Black ink  to distress.  Add Large Rhinestone . Cut Raven from Altered Pages...

We can dress up Tags, we can make them full of embellishments and artful accents. In the end, Tags are Tags! We have premade tags for your easy gifting AND we have papers for you to make your own.    Do you have a Cuddlebug? Or a Silhouette, or a Cricut? Have you been playing along with us this month and sharing your tag art?  Today I have a gift tag project that really holds a gift card. To make this tag gift card, you need two tags and two pieces of card stock.  I made a hinge to hold the tags together by measuring the distance along the straight edge of the tag by 2 inches wide.  I used my Scor Board to make sure the fold is perfectly centered and straight. I used ScorTape to hold the hinge and cards together with a touch of white glue for stability. I cut the pocket freehand.  These tags are 3 1/2 inches wide, so I made the front of the pocket 3 1/4 inches, PLUS a half inch extra for folding on the back.  This was also attached with ScorTape and little bit of white glue. I covered the front tag and the front of the pocket with Corazonitos Sabor paper.  It's a really pretty black and gray swirl pattern that's great for Halloween.
