  My husband and I had walked into the local homestore today and I saw the Christmas aisles and a feeling of joy rushed over me.  I love the holidays! As I looked around, I was like a kid in a candy store.  The beautiful lights, ornaments and decorations put me in the mood to celebrate.  One thing I have been thinking of over the last few days is about people who aren't able to visit family and friends and how often they celebrate alone, sometimes even forgotten.  They don't need to be, though.  Remembering these people and bringing a warmth to their holiday season can be as simple as giving them a card.    I created this card to share the Thanksgiving happiness with someone.  For it, I used the embossing frame folder to create a mat for the collage photo.  After I ran the folder through my embossing machine, I cut around the embossed area and inked the edges.  I used the Happy Thanksgiving collage sheet for the phot...

One of my goals for this year is to become more organized.  I've been cleaning and clearing out our entire house and one place that I'm still working on is my craft area.  Today I stopped by my favorite dollar store and found this neat little acrylic frame and thought it would make a useful calendar holder.  Once I got home I decided to use it to keep track of my project due dates, but it was too plain for my liking.  I used a sheet of the Glitz 8 x 8 paper for the background and the Sepia Ink Pad to ink the edges of my calendar that I printed off our computer.  The ink helped tone down the bright white of the paper to give it a more vintage look to match the paper and my my craft area.  I adore the little girl and the rose from the Red White and Blue Collage Sheet so I cut them out individually and added them to the outside of the frame.  Each month I can put in a new calendar and mark the dates my projects are due and I can use more collage...
