He's got your number

Hi Everyone,   Jess  here with an art journal page for you today.  Since it's below 100 degrees it must be Fall in Arizona! Time to break out the scarves and pumpkins.  I made this creepy journal page just for you.   To start my page I used several colors of  mists.      I used one color at a time, drying between layers to be sure I didn't make mud.   While the page was drying I used my watercolor paper and  Stazon  ink to stamp my images.     I hit the images with the heat gun because they are about to get very wet.  I wanted to be sure I used my watercolor paper for this part since it hold up to lots of water and doesn't peel up like other cardstock might.       I used my Distress Markers to color my images.  For the main part of the skull I used Antique Linen.  I scribbled some on the craft sheet and used my  water brush  to pick up the...

Valentines with Altered Pages Collages!

  Hello and welcome to February- a month filled with LOVE and SNOW- at least in my neck of the world! heehee Today I am sharing with you some of my Valentine's I have made- some to be hung in the windows and others for sharing- hope you find some inspiration in my post! DecoArt Liquid Glass used on this one  I started out with some paper heart doilies and cardboard hearts I had. After stringing the red hearts and then gluing them to the lace doily- the fun began!  I printed out Altered Pages Valentine collages and fancy cut the pieces I would use     The Distress Markers were used to outline the Love quote to give depth to it.      Lots of Stickles glitter glue here- yes, I am a fan of Stickles!    And now close ups of each Valentine- using the collage pieces Stickles used on this one                     ...
