Hi Everyone it's Danie here. Today I am sharing an item I am working on as part of a swap - A Deconstructed Art Journal Page. The theme is Geisha's so I started with a handmade background I had created at a recent class at my local scrapbook shop which was working with acrylic paint combed across a cardstock piece. The curved lines created by the combing of the paint I thought resembled some of the fish scale like patterns that appear often in oriental themes. These types of projects allow you a chance to use up leftover paper scraps. I had some left overs from the Graphic 45 Birdsong Collection. The swap criteria is to create a 8 x 8 size journal spread. Folded in half this piece creates one centre spread (full page) with a front and back (1/2 page).
