Thank you PRIMA for partnering with Altered Pages this month. I love the  Prima Art Alchemy Acrylic Paints.  So far this month I have used them on metal, canvas, chipboard and now glass.  I only used gesso on the canvas because it was white and wanted it to be black.  I have not had any issues with The  Prima Art Alchemy Acrylic Paints on any surfaces.    Today I am sharing my altered bottle.      Supplies: Prima Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint:   Metallique Dark Forest   Metallique Soft Satin   Sparks Dragon Eye Prima Flowers Altered Pages Collage - 1709 Marie Antoinette   Bottle to alter Manila Tag Inks Steampunk butterfly & Key- Chipboard Tacky Glue Glue Stick Twine or Burlap To start use  Tacky Glue  to adhere twine as it is wrapped around the bottle.  Let the glue dry overnight.  Paint the bottle with Prima Art ...

Can you believe is it DECEMBER?  There are 24 days of shopping left until Christmas!!!  December is special for the Altered Pages Design Team... our product partner for the month is ACTIVA .  We are really excited to share all the wonderful products they have.  Today I am playing with Activa  Ridge Wrap.      To start gather your supplies to work with Ridge Wrap: scissors, balloons ( small water balloons), container for warm water, protective cover for table.   Cut the Ridge Wrap in strips (about 1 1/2 x 4) and blow up balloons... you are now ready to start applying Ridge Wrap .       Wet Ridge Wrap thoroughly in the bowl of warm water, remove excess water.  Slightly overlap each piece as you add them to the balloon.  When applying, rub the Ridge Wrap to help close the plaster holes in the wrap.           Apply the first layer of Ridge Wrap...

  Last Year I made these at the last minute for my Thanksgiving table.  Did you know Altered Pages has a collage sheet of ready to create Thanksgiving placecards?  You can order your collage sheet digitally and print as many as you need for your Thanksgiving celebration!!!   I cut out the cards and adhered them to orange cardstock with glue stick to make them a bit more sturdy!       Supplies Thanksgiving Placecards Collage Sheet Dew Drops Wink of Stella Glue stick Tacky Glue   Embellish with Dew Drops and Wink of Stella     You could also add      Flowers       Glitter Buttons   or Twines!!!     Create your own for your table this year!!!!
