Sabor Explosion Box

Hope you have been enjoying our month of projects using SABOR products!!!  I know the team has loved working with the vibrant colors and high quality papers.  Today I have a really fun project, an Explosion Box!       Supplies: SABOR - Ole Picado SABOR - OLE Sorpresa SABOR - OLE Fiesta SABOR - Ole Cutouts Black Cardstock Tacky Glue Dew Drops Glue Stick Double Stick Tape Tacky Glue Dimensional Adhesive Silk Leaves Fabric Flowers for Sabor Bazzill Flowers - pink orange and lime green Trims  Ribbons Papers used for this project SABOR - Ole Picado SABOR - OLE Sorpresa SABOR - OLE Fiesta Black Cardstock   For the three layer box cut papers 12 x 12 inches - score @ 4 inch intervals (Black) 10.5 x 10.5 inches - score @ 3.5 inch intervals (Fiesta) 9 x 9 inches - score @ 3 inch intervals (Sorpresa)     Cut the corners of each piece of paper as pictured above   ...

Cookin' with Sabor ~ Part dos

Hi, Jean here to finish off my Colorful  Cookbook. (read all the way down for happy news) Family and Friends come first with me!  Love to entertain all the time for any reason or no reason at all!   I collect Cookbooks and make them for gifts.  Wedding showers, housewarmings and small ones for hostess gifts.   I like a binder format with removable page protectors to allow adding or changing the contents.    I HAVE A SAD STORY ~ My blog post was all finished and ready to go, I wanted to just add one tweak when BOOM!   I inadvertently hit a key and POOF, the entire post disappeared.  Don't know what I pressed but I will never do it again!   Therefore, it is shorter but you still get the point! A hostess gift that will please!

Howdy, Jean here today with a very timely solution to my need for a hostess gift this weekend. We are invited to a Mexican Fiesta dinner with a crowd of friends.   Our hosts always provide fabulous food, conversation and importantly ~ awesome decor! I purchased a beautifully green plant and a tin container.    Being that this was a festive event, I wanted to really dress it up and guess what.....?    SABOR to the rescue!   Begin with a Skewer or Chopstick and paint it any color you wish to coordinate with your papers (or leave natural). HAVE FUN AND KEEP ADDING MORE LAYERS AND BAUBLES I choose several SABOR papers , you can use floral templates to cut various sizes.   One handed cutting is not easy....I took off my hard cast and tried cutting but opted for my silhouette which went a bit faster!  Taking it over the top is always the best way to go in my opinion!   Make the 'flowers' as ful...
