In my last post, I shared one of my favorite embossing powder techniques, that Faux Glass finish, which you can see here .  Today I'll share a couple more of my favorite embossing powder tricks. Nothing beats the wonderful digital collages from AlteredPages which are the perfect items to emboss and add to your cards, collages, books and more. First up, embossing powder resist.  Simply use a clear embossing powder to create an image on vintage ephemera or Altered Pages Collage Background, here a butterfly onto sheet music, then rub ink over the embossed image.  The image remains the color of the ephemera underneath.  Fun, right? Another favorite embossing powder trick of mine is to use the embossing powder to create an edge to pieces, whether small ones attached to collages or cards, or as in this case, to create a finished edge to altered chipboard dominoes .
