Vintage Memories are showcased by the creative supplies of USArtQuest.com and AlteredPages.com:
This lone photo longed for a story. I chose Arizona as the locale and the Salt River as the body of water. It may or may not be true, but that is what the picture said to me.
I combined many glorious creative tools:
USArtQuest Art Paper
USArtQuest Prills
USArtQuest Perfect Pigment Acrylic Paint
USArtQuest PPA Gloss
USArtQuest Mica D'Lights
Ink for Aging
A Vintage Photo
Lace and Fabric and Burlap Ribbon
Film Negatives
Paper Flowers
Splash Inks
Alphabet Die Cuts
Aqua-Flo Water Brush
Embellishments
Adhesive
Choose some textured USArtQuest Art Paper and the wonderfully versatile Aqua-Flo Water Brush to watercolor a backdrop design.
You can see I added some USArtQuest Perfect Pigment Acrylic Paint as well.
Next the Alphabet Die Cuts get a swipe of watercolor inks.
Then a coat of USArtQuest Perfect Pigment Acrylic Paint and USArtQuest Mica D'Lights while still wet.
Dip the letters in USArtQuest PPA Gloss and another color of
USArtQuest Mica D'Lights
Using USArtQuest PPA Gloss and USArtQuest Prills to add to the background paper.
A nice pop of color to your Embellishments too, using USArtQuest PPA Gloss to adhere them.
Layer up after inking the letters and the lace with some Ink for Aging
Take a close look at each section for further ideas...
Here is the finished layout and the end of the story.
